Introduction | B2B Activities | Auctions | Legal Stuff | Servers | Site Map |
In the past 4 weeks, we have covered more of the facets of e-commerce. We started off with learning the different aspects of B2B business activities, EDI, different marketplaces, and the supply chain. Then, we shifted gears and talked about auction sites and virtual communities. The next chapter covered another aspect: legal and ethical issues. Those include ethics, intellectual property, legal issues, online crimes, and taxation. Finally, we started to dive into the technological part of the book, by talking about web servers. Along with the basics, we also talked about the hardware and software involved, the use of e-mail, and utility software used for other purposes. As you can see, we have covered a lot of information, and I hope you will be as informed as I have become by looking at this site. As usual, if you have any comments or questions, use the contact link below and I will answer them the best I can. Information provided on site is either from the textbook "Electronic Commerce, 8th Edition" or is paraphrased from the book. |
